Hi,
Does anyone know the model of the replacement diaphragms for the M9500? I saw some D8R2450SL and owner claimed it’s replacement for S9500. I have the impression the M9500/S9500 uses 16 ohms diaphragms.
thanks.

LHF member "sebackman" has intimate knowledge about your question ( re; name + diaphragm impedance ).
I believe the replacement diaphragm is now NLA and also, was of unique design.
Can't you just measure the good one you have left ? ( iow, measure it's DCR )
Look here last page. The Imp is definitely 16 ohms nominal so an 8 won't work. You need a D16R2450SL or equivalent.

The notes about 8 ohms refer to the test fixture that is used to characterize the crossover network. That part is not about the driver. The curve shown matches what we expect to see from a 16 ohm driver from JBL.
This is an 8 ohm vs 16 ohm driver. 2453HSL 8 and a 476Mg 16. If you compare them to the last plot of the driver measured on the horn you can clearly see it compares more closely to the 16 Ohm driver black trace in the graph.

Thanks guys.
