I remember that one. I have the Maxell 'Blown Away' poster on the wall behind my drum kit. Maxell's website was actually giving them away free a couple of months ago.
Proffesional level gear is seldom ,if ever, advertised in anything but a proffesional medium. They sell themselves.

Neither is Ferrari. Doesn't seem to hurt them.Other than Bose, I can't remember any ads for speakers on tv. And we all know what Bose is.
You'll never see ads for good wine either, they don't need to. Just the cheap, garbage gut wine is advertized.
Same for good speakers, don't need to be advertized.
