Hi Doc, I think your original idea is the best plan, especially if your have the JB Weld on hand. If it is mixed up right and fully cured I would think you could tighten it down just like the other 3...

Check to see if one of the tinsel lead wires in the back of the unit between the terminals and cone are not sitting too close to rear of cone and rubbing or vibrating.:hmm:
4435 has more low end and slam then 4430
If your using a B460 with your 4430 it might have the low end but I will guess the 4435 will have more slam.:D
Now if you united a pair of 4435 + B460...
