Humble Pie, Rock On, 1971, AM USA, SP 4301

Incredible 55 years: what happened to the magic and fascination of Humble Pie? Produced by Glyn Johns. Strong female background voices by Doris Troy (1937-2004), P.P. Arnold, Claudia Lennear.

Dave Davis, Kinked, 2021, Green Amp Canada, RRE LP 203, RSD Black Friday

This Canada pressing was released exclusively for Record Store Day 2021. Are there any vinyl fans among you who buy or collect RSD Records? A hype? But this edition by Dave Davis has a lot of charm. Recommended for Kinks fans all over the world.

What should you do with this violin playing today? Difficult! Too much Geigenspiel.

Return To Forever, Where Have I Known You Before, 1974, Polydor Germany, 2310 354

Chick Corea/Lenny White/Stanley Clarke/Al DiMeola. With the 14-minute centerpiece “Song to the Pharoah Kings,” the band created a masterpiece of "Fusion Jazz". The track shows extremely dense, virtuoso interplay, groundbreaking solos and complex time changes.

Who on earth likes fusion jazz with an overdose of synthesizers?
