    XLR sensetivity

I am conecting my preamp to the LSR6312 sub and form there to my anp
    i am using XLR interconectors

    My question IS
How do i now what sensitivity i should use in de sub input section
    is it -10dBV or +4dBu or +8dBu

in the manual of the pre there is no spec for this outputs

How can this degrade my signal

Generally a consumer/audiophile preamp will be -10 and a pro audio pre will be +4.

A level mismatch can affect noise, distortion, and headroom.

    What preamp are you using?

    Hello
Start out with the setting on the highest position the +8 and when running your system see if you have enough level to run the sub where it needs to be to match the rest of the system. I would guess there is a level trim control on the sub amp that would give you some range with in each setting. Try to use the highest position possiable that would give you the best signal to noise for the sub. With your XLR balanced connection it should be either the +8 or +4.

Let us know waht you find
