There is one available locally for $249. In mono at 12 ohms, it can push 600 watts through my W15GTI sub.
Has anyone had any experience with this amp..., good or bad? Would the PM-1.5 be a better match?
Thanks.
Todd

Todd...I used one in my bass rig (90's) and remember not being all that impressed.
Great tone and plenty of power but subject to reliability issues... but for $250 powering a sub in your house....what have you got to lose?
I remember having to send it to the factory for service because no tech in town would touch it.

Hello
I used some PM900's in one of stage monitors systems years ago along with
some of the other Carver PM and PT series of amps. I never had any troubles with them. It got to be time to update and needing more power ( like who doesn't) and I went to the QSC PL2 series of amps. I still have a couple of the PM600's and a PM1200 laying arround. The biggest complaint about the PM900 was the fan filter was on the side and hard to get to when mounted in a rack to clean it.

The Carver PM900 is one of the nicest low freq amps going. $250 - buy it!
I drive my 4430s low end with it. It is tight and clean. Never had an issue and I drive the crap out of it.
