Actually, that's been in development by Bose for years. I'd thought of something similar years before that, but never really followed through. Personally, I think it's pretty good technology.

Speaker Builder published design criteria and notes on building their "acousti-mass" subwoofer and they hauled them into court. God I miss that magazine. I have 10 years worth in my attic.

CRIPE! Do you mean Bose put SB out of business? I never knew - that mag (and publisher) was great! Used to subscribe and advertise in it all the time.
