    Looking at the dia's in 2425 -

    - to see if they are real JBL or not - what's the procedure? Three philips head screws on the back and lift off the back plate?

    Any danger?

I am selling some, and someone wants a pic of the frams.

Thanks in advance for any advice ---

if you stick to taking off the back plate, there is hardly any danger

if you try to remove the diaphragms themselves, be carefull, they might be stuck a little

Beware of big magnets vs metal screwdrivers.

I guessed while I was away - right, no biggie. The screws seem a bit soft. Do I have good news or bad news?

    Good news

You have good news. On the terminal that has the red wire, a red marking means D16R2425....a green marking means D8R2425.
