Always liked the L212s... both aesthetically and from an audio performance standpoint.

Sadly, the only JBLs in my house these days are a pair of JBL LSR305s in the office. Gone are the DD66000s, the Array 1400s, the L100s, and piles and piles of DIY speakers. I still have a few choice bits and pieces that may rise from the dust as something interesting. Who knows.

I like my LSR305s so much I bought another pair that are still in the box. And the volume controller.

May the Lord smite me with DD67000s, and may I never recover!

Looks like a pretty old thread, but I'll bite! Heather appears to be the only old timer here still actively collecting. I've sort of joined that non collector crowd as well. My favorites are a pair of 4333B's. They are slightly modified though. 2216nd woofers and CC'd Pass crossover. Second system is 4429's. In the back room 6332's and 4425's. The 4333 system is powered by an old Threshold S500 with a Schiit Yggdrrsil D/A with passive volume control in between. Amazing clarity and depth, and mid range to die for. Love them.

Interesting. I am considering something along these lines myself. In my collection of remaining JBL parts are a pair of pristine LE85s with 2312 horns/lenses and a pair of 2405s. I have a pair of 1501AL woofers that I'll give a try if I ever get around to the project, but I think the 2216nds might be a better choice.

Looking at your system, I fear you are seriously lacking on the low end... otherwise I'm sure it will be satisfying with light chamber music.

I would love to know more details. I assume this is the evolution of your system over time, or do you have four systems with three based on 4344s?

I couldn't agree more...I've always wanted to build four Shearer horns to get this low end issue finally fixed...

Nice setups... Yes...43xx is on my list too... Here are nearly all components of a 4355, except the badges and L knobs, to finally extend my JBL addiction into the 43 corner...

@mr.widget. Three pairs ( 2 x 4344 , 1 x 4345 ) playing in one room ,on three walls. Only the XPL90 with subs are stored in another room. The 44s and the 45 are with activ bass and Jagusch Crossovers. The 4345 is something special, the super tweeter is not in work , i use JBL 2447H ,with short horn and lens, for 1000Hz -17000Hz

JBL B460 sub in the same room.
Got a pair of L20Ts behind me up in my office as computer monitors for my MacPro, fed by an Advent Model 300 receiver.
Pair of L26 2ways down in the basement by the treadmill (fed by a Yamaha CR-400 I bought nw in 1976)
Pair of 18ti 2 ways in boxes on the shelf.
Oh, and "The JBL Dynamics Project" I am currently working on ... kind of an L200 3way sort of thing ...
2216ND woofer in an L200 cabinet, 2445J 2" driver on walnut Smith Horn on top,
and Great Heil (or 2405 slots or something similar) tweeters on top -
the Heils are currently off while I fine tune the system.

    Slowing down acquisition, but

    I am left with L5s, L7s and my homage to the 4430. Raw drivers - a pair of 2426, a pair of 2425, a pair of 2417, a pair of 2342s, nine LE14As, a pair of 2226, a pair of 2225 (destined to be re-coned as 2235s), a 2245 and I'm currently trying to find a mate for my orphan 2214.
