New to site, have question.

Hello. I got these bins at a yard sale for 45 $ CDN,I did a sweep with my frequecy generator and they seemed ok, they included the Altec Drivers and the Celestion horns. (2 bins, two horns, 4 Celestion compression drivers and 2 Altec drivers). Please forgive the condition as I am just refininishing them. I thought that the bins were Altec but they look like 4560's to me (am I wrong)? The drivers are 16 inc and the holes in the bins are 15 inch, do these drivers belong in these boxes? Are they any good? Did I waste my money? I would greatly appreciate any info on these and any suggestions on putting them back in working condition, I think they are one of the meanest looking boxes I ever seen .

Sure look like 4560's to me.But they could be a knock-off.Many outfits made thier own boxes.AST in manhattan comes to mind.The box being a JBL style would explain the 15" 16" thing,Altecs had alot of 16 frame stuff that at that time JBL didn't.I'd say you got yourself a good deal!!
