looking for spec sheets from 4425 components

    hi,

I am looking for spec sheets from the components from the 4425 monitor:

    low 2214H
    compression driver 2416H
    horn 2342

I have the sheet from the 4425, but the compression driver and horn only seem to be included in other speakers and were not sold seperately, so there seem to be no sheets available.

If anyone has them, or can direct me to where I can find them, then thanks.

I have bought a 2416H, 2342 horn and the crossovers from a set of 4425's. The cabinets and low drivers seem to have been thrown anway at some stage. I want to built some nice 2-ways using the 4425 components and already have done so with 2344 horns and 2420 drivers.

    greetings, Frank

    hello herve,

I saw another post from you from 2003 in this thread http://www.audioheritage.org/vbullet...read.php?t=789 were you say you find the horn from the 4425 a little harsher than the horn from the 4430

I am curious as to how the 2342 horn from the 4425 will sound as I might want to build a "small system" with a french Davis Acoustics 8" woofer and the 2342 horn, and a "big system" with a 2235/2123/2344/2420 combination

    greetings, frank

for the 2342, I did hardness speak about the 4425, indeed, in high medium, but can be because of the electronique one? I prefer when the horn is as broad as the woofer. Perhaps the 2342 sound better with a 10' or 8'. The 2235 +2123 is a difficult couple, I did not succeed in filtering!
