    Exclamation 2215A reconing

    Hi guys,
please help me, I have two 2215A speakers needs recone.
My question is the following: must I use only the original reconing kit, or can recone as different speaker, for ex. 2205, 2225, ?
Thanks in advance to all who can help me and sorry for my english.
    bye Giuliano, Italy

The 2215A is a unique driver in the JBL line. It must be reconed with the 2215A or 2215B kit. (8ohm or 16ohm).

Are your speakers blown or is it only the foam surrounds that have deteriorated? If it is only the surround, those can usually be easily replaced at a cost savings.

    2215 reconing

The speakers are blown, no refoaming is possible.
    Thanks

If you can't locate recone kits, look up GordonW here - he's put together a few "specialty" items...
