    Post Official OEM source for JBL Blue baffle paint

    I stumbled upon this on the Harman Pro website today 3/17/2024: https://help.harmanpro.com/4435-blue-baffle-paint "4435 Blue Baffle Paint The paint a custom mix. The vendor is: Naylor's Paint Venice, California phone number 310-393-7223 They will only sale quart's with JBL Part Number 333258-006 (PNT,WATER BASE, FLAT, DARK BLUE-4348).​"

    Very cool! The newer JBLs like the 4348 use a darker blue than the vintage 43XXs but still very useful.

    I removed the baffle from a 4343 and took it to Sherwin Williams and had them match the paint with their computerized scan. It was so close to perfect, I could tell no difference.

    Thank you, Mr. Widget for pointing out that the newer JBL Blue is darker than the original version blue used by JBL. According to some of our long-time LHS forum members, the universal color chart paint mixing code for the older JBL Blue is RAL 5007.
