Colleagues, Lets raise a glass to Gordon Lightfoot, one of the best song writers and singers of our time. I have had the pleasure of seeing him and the fabulous musicians he worked with namely Red Shea and Rick Haines a couple of times. Always entertaining, his casual banter with the audience and musicians, and his craft giving us a quality product whether live or recorded. Quality tunes and intelligent lyrics, rather than the gum popping stupidity that passes today. Rather than go on, Here's to you Gord. Thankyou for all the great tunes and lyrics you have given us. ED
