    You may find that increasing the size of the baffle in the vertical plane to at least the wavelength at crossover ( 16" at 800 hz ) will have some benefits. The top panel of the 4560 would count as part of that if the baffle were continuous from the mouth of the horn

    Based on sketch shown looks like the original 2390 (HL89) baffle is more than 16 3/4" (425 mm) wide. But i don't have an official overall width number. Maybe JBL wanted to prevent home-made copies of such, that would not have helped selling their MA25 installation kit? I would guess it has an additional 1-2" or so on each side.

    However the lens dimensions are known: 7" (178 mm) H, 19 7/8" (505 mm) W, 4 5/8" (117 mm) D.
