    Reattach grill cloth

The grill cloth on my L222 is coming loose along the top edge. What is best to reattach it?I am leaning towards 3M 77 adhesive carefully applied along the top edge of the wood frame then pulling the fabric onto it. I would use blue painters take to hold the back flap of fabric down until the top edge cures. Then some more 3M 77 along the back side. My concern is controlling overspray.I also am thinking of using brush-on Pliobond along the back edge only. It is thicker than the 3M so am concerned about bleeding through the fabric. That is why I would only use it on the back side.

I would use 3M Super 77 outside on a calm day and mask EVERYTHING you don't want overspray on. That stuff will float across the room and stick to any surface you don't want it on.

I would first dust a light coat and let it dry and then give it a heavier coat. Spray both sides to be joined and let it set up and stick the surfaces together before it fully dries. If you don't use the dust coat it may soak through.
