    Garage speakers finally finished

Here are the finished garage speakers. 2/3 JBL 1/3 EV The LF driver is a EVM15B and the mid / hf components are from the JBL prx735. I also copied the passive crossover from the PRX. The system is biamped with a DC300A series two on the low end and a D75A on the mid/hf. They are very good sounding with lots of punch. We sit about 20 feet back from them and let it fly. The speakers do have a funny trait is that the neighbors show up with beer and lawn chairs when I fire them up. Im lucky in that they folks in our neighborhood like the Who, Wishbone Ash and Mountain music along those lines.
I have to thank RMC/2205 for his help in the project. He gave me some good ideas and some documentation that was very useful so I wanted to thank him publicly
And most importantly the cops havent showed up.....YetName: DSC01686.JPG

Wishbone Ash, now there's a band which doesn't come up very often, much like Detroit's own The Rockets. They're both before my time by several decades, yet I know them. Much better than what passes as "music" today.

    Hi Glenn,

Nice to hear from you, been a little while. I hope you are doing well.

The horns look great! Thanks for your good word, however you deserve the credit for this having done all the work, what i did is provide tech info and suggestions that's the easy part.

The fact the cabs attract crowds when you turn them on is a very good sign, people must like the sound otherwise they wouldn't be hanging around with their chairs and beer! Lets hope the cops share this view. You're a public service now, can't stop, lol

For LH viewers the LF cabs are DIY EV Eliminator horn loaded enclosures too.

Thanks for sharing these pics. Best regards,

    Richard

    Nice looking Eliminators!

I built a pair when I was in high school. Unfortunately my neighbors were not Who fans.
