    April 2022 Stereophile "Zilch Econowave Speakers"

    For those who read Stereophile, and those who don't, there is a very interesting artical entitled The Devon and Marlow Excitements. Look at the picture on the bottom left side of Page 29. The sharp eye will see a pair of Zilch-inspired Econowave speakers as evidenced by the "Dr. Suess" horns.

    I am guessing you are referring to this image. No mention of the speakers in the article.

    Turns out to be an interesting story, but it's not an econowave. An 8 inch public address driver repurposed. Based more on research of articles in older Japanese audio magazines.

    And apparently occasionally available for sale. I don't think many of us would be interested at those prices though.
