    N-500-E Mystery Crossover Help

Hello. A few years ago I purchased a pair of 16ohm 416A woofers on eBay for a speaker project. They arrived with a pair of N-500-E crossovers. At the time I noticed the crossovers did not have attenuators but didn't give it much thought and the speakers and crossovers went in to storage until recently.

Looking at the crossovers I can see where an attenuator post used to be located. I opened up the crossovers to see what was going on and it appears they have been cored and completely redone inside.

I'm just curious if anyone recognizes what is going on here. Photos attached.

I've tested them and they function but I'd like to be able to add high frequency attenuation back in. Not sure if it is possible here. I may scrap these and move on to another crossover but curious if anyone here has any ideas/thoughts.

    Thanks for looking!

    Looks like parts express crossover

Im guessing 1.6Khz crossover. i don't see attenuation or EQ in circuit.
    Add L-pad for HF control.
