    My last build ,a passiv 4344 clone , for tube amps ,all drivers with 16 Ohm voice coils .

    I would run midbass on up with tubes, but woofer best with high current SS amp, unless you have 100WPC tube amp or more.
    Just my opinion, i use mostly single ended tube amps less than 10 WPC. but I use high efficiency midbass drivers such as JBL 2226's I'm willing to give up LF extension for efficiency. For bottom end I sometimes use powered sub woofer, but that is rarely for me.

    Tube amps

    For curiousity what tube amps are you using?

    I like my EL34 single ended amps with James output iron.

    Actually,i only use the nakamichis for my JBLs, the tube amp is a 4 x KT 88 YAQIN.
