Found them, they are too large to attach in a post. I have the files for the I-Tech 3500 and 5000, not sure what the difference is. If anyone still wants them please PM me with your e-mail and I will sent them over.
Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott;
Thank you for the files. We are smashed at work so it’s late nights but I should get it loaded over the weekend.
For now it is right next to one of the 4365’s with a 6dB low pass at 51Hz. This would identify itself if it was somewhere remote in the room but as is without trying it has -23 degrees phase difference at 50Hz and only -58 degrees difference at 200Hz so the summation is really good.
I like this thing. Gonna have to buy another.
Barry.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.
No problem Barry, you sub 18 owners really have me looking into the 2269’s.
Also I have not found a tech manual for the sub 18 yet, I will be calling them up to see if one exists.
Thanks,
Scott
Do you guys know the port tuning of the Sub18 enclosure?
I think at it would be around 22 - 25Hz?
Ari
I just ran impedance at 8V driven by the I-TECH with a VI box and impedance peak is 26.7Hz.
The ports are 12.75-13.” Long. The port radius is about 0.75”. It’s not exactly a radius as it has a bit of taper headed into the pipe. Pipe diameter is 5” and of course there are two.
It appears the whole box is made from 18MM or 0.75 material. I have’t pulled the driver out but since it is flush mounted in the baffle it has to be thicker.

I was looking at the 5628 speaker tunings files and they have an assortment of file settings for the DSI, DCI, and iTech series amplifiers available for download. I don't have confirmation but it appears to me that each woofer in the 5628 has it's own push terminal. If the 5628 has the same port tuning as the SUB18, then maybe the above mentioned files could be used on a single or pair of SUB18's. This could be a longshot on port tuning but it may get an individual in the same ballpark with the iTech specific files I spoke about last week with the amps listed above. Sorry if it was too off topic.
Thanks,
Scott
Hi Barry, I tried pm’ing you but your inbox was full.
Thanks,
Scott
Sorry Scott.
I made some space.

For those interested in 5628 (or 2269), here’s a killer deal: https://www.fullcompass.com/prod/566...nema-subwoofer
Have you guys measured your subs yet?
I own both SUB18 and 5628 and common for them (even without any HPF) they roll-off VERY steep around 22hz. Like the driver has a built in filter which cuts things off below that frequency.
Measured in to different rooms. I have never had issues measuring the low frequencies in rooms.
My previous subs were the S1S-EX and 4645C. They did not roll-off this early actually. This surprised me.
hey Barry,
It has been a while since you last posted. I am an M2 and 2x SUB18 owner as well. I’m trying to eliminate the fan noise in my DCi 4|1250n amps. Do you have your amps in a separate room?
Thanks
Paul
