    Earaches: the worst of...

Let's speak about those songs or albums, that cause earaches! But we won't listen to...

Jimi Hendrix, Blues At Midnight, 2005, Radioactve EU, RR2LP105, 2LP, Limited Ed.

Sad, sad, sad: it's better for us, not to know how many lousy live jammings JH did. So don't buy this one: "JH, Blues At Midnight", Radioactive Records, 2005. Recorded live at the Café au Go Go, Greenwich Village, NYC, March 1968 and at Generation Club, NYC, April 1968.
Typical for that sort of crap is the notice shown in the credits for the vocals: track 1,6 "unknown vocalist".
Does anybody want to listen to "Little wing" C3 lacking the voice of JH?

This is robbing of dead people...

BIM (aka R. Forbes), Thistles, 1978, Elektra Germany, ELK 52099

This is the worst of vocals. Should be recorded by a competent singer once again...

Deodato, Happy Hour, 1982, WB Germany, 56 983

Happy hour? Sad 35 minutes of easy-listening disco plunder. Everything Deodato produced for Warner Brothers was trash.
Listen to A1 "Keep on moving" (in which direction?) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HzBtHxZqsZg

Lou Reed, Metal Machine Music, 1975

Waste of vinyl. 64 minutes of feedback, clattering and unnerving noise.

Animals, Greatest Hits Live!, 1984, IRS Holland, ILP 25937

Lousy sound. Nearly inexistent drums! It's a pity because it was a zealous live performance by great musicians and an awesome celebration that December 31 1983 at Wembley Arena London.
What music history: Eric Burdon, Chas Chandler, Alan Price, John Steel, Hilton Valentine, Steve Grant guitars, Zoot Money kb
No information about the sax player. Anybody knows?

The spine of the US issue of this album says "Rip It To Shreds The Animals Greatest Hits Live!" How true...

Jethro Tull, Under Wraps, 1984, Chrysalis Germany, 206 518

In 1983 the master of the flute had discovered the synthesizers and drum machines. Nobody told him to avoid them because he produced "Walk into light" and this one at home. Possibly Martin Barre whispered it to him? Therefore Martin Barre lost his job during the next years more and more. "Saboteur"A5. And that fact was the end of a wonderful band. Waste. Waste of vinyl...

Dave Greenslade/Patrick Woodroffe, Pentateuch, 1979, EMI GB, 2LP, Book, EMSP 332

This is the worst of Dave Greenslade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNhtAh3U_sc This is the very very very best of Patrick Woodroffe. http://www.patrickwoodroffe-world.com/ The book inside of this album is still wonderful and fascinating. The music on these 2 Lps didn't withstand the test of time.

Admittedly I don't know any of Dave Greenslade's solo works. But If this one should be his worst, how good must have been all his other efforts?

    Best regards!

    Eberhard Schoener/Sting/Andy Summers, 1978, Mercury Germany, 830 824 1

The worst of Sting: what annoying voice! One half of this LP is unbearable high-pitched vocal trash. The work of Eberhard Schoener and Andy Summers is OK. Olaf Kübler ts/as.
The Police arrested this importunate singer...

I made an additional note in the Image Uploads discussion.

How large is the file you are trying to upload?
There seems to be a failure when files over 1 Megs are attempted to be uploaded.

Ray Charles, Invites You To Listen, 1967, EMI England, CSD 3630

The silly falsetto voice of Ray Charles on this one: still unbearable after these 56 years. But there are some wonderful tracks anyway.

Oh whoa, he covered "Yesterday?" Perhaps I'll add that to the list of things to try and listen to.
