Help ID Rock group photos ??

So yesterday a table of books comes out on the floor at the thrift , there
is a large number of 8x10 glossies too. We all grab at them. obviously donated by one person, (Tim) , since many are inscribed to him.

My handful includes press photo/handouts for
    Beatles x 6
    Hendrix x 5
    Bob Marley x2
The ones in protective envelopes with autographs/inscriptions
    Robert Cummings
Jack Nicholson (on back of a page for "The Shining")
Debbie Harry (in black lingerie for mag ad)
    Lena Horne
Anthony Perkins (Norman Bates from Psycho)
    Julie London

One original live shot of The Rolling Stones.

spent a while last night authenticating the signatures, all seem good

But then the are 3 rock groups that I'm unsure of ....pics attached
My GUESS is GDead, Deep Purple & ???? (with white guitar) Anybody have better guesses ?????

Correct and correct. The last is definitely the Dead. Weir, Lesh, Garcia, Donna Godchaux l-r. That would make it a 1970s photo. I miss long hair on women. Donna Jean is not widely known aside from the Deadhead community, but by virtue of this gig, she has likely performed in front of more people than all but a handful of musicians. Nice JBL's in the background. The middle is indeed Deep Purple. I'm not familiar with the top photo's version of 1980s hell. I've put out a feeler on it.

Deep Purple, possibly from the same photo shoot.

Donna Jean Godchaux with the Grateful Dead, about forty years ago.

I messaged the photo of the mystery band to a friend in Florida; she thought it to be an old shot of Judas Priest. I figured the key was to ID the white Strat with the left-handed neck. Then a guitarist friend of a bass player friend found a photo of Judas Priest with Glen Tipton posing with a white RH Fender Strat sporting a left-handed fender neck. Bingo! It's Judas Priest. When Rob Halford had hair.

So, with a (lot) of help from my friends, thanks to Heather Burke, Pattie Ong, and Randy Halberg. BTW, Pattie passes it on that Iron Maiden is the best metal band in the World. Metal keeps her sane. I know another woman who lived in Germany for a long time and Volbeat likewise keeps her afloat. So I'm never going to say anything bad about Metal. It's all music. How many of us remember where the moniker came from. A writer described Jimi's music as "like listening to heavy metal falling from the sky".

A sad epilogue to the Judas Priest photo quest. It doesn't get much worse than when someone is deprived by disease of doing what they love.

You're welcome and thank you for the opportunity. It was fun. One I knew, one I web searched, one I asked friends to help. They had fun too. And thank you so very much for passing on the image.

I know Heavy Metal is not popular on this site, but you may like one thing about it. NO horns! I am not a fan of any particular Metal bands myself, but the level of playing prowess impresses me and reminds me of Jazz musicians. It is not like the merely adequate or worse playing most other types of vocalist centered bands engage in. Heavy Metal bands are extremely passionate about music, as are their fans. Fans consider these musicians heroes and researchers note higher than average intelligence among the practitioners.

Robert Orville Cummings was an American film and television actor known mainly for his roles in comedy films such as The Devil and Miss Jones (1941) and Princess O'Rourke (1943), but was also effective in dramatic films, especially two of Alfred Hitchcock's thrillers, Saboteur (1942) and Dial M for Murder (1954). Cummings received five Primetime Emmy Award nominations, and won the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Actor in a Single Performance in 1955. On February 8, 1960, he received two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame for his contributions to the motion picture and television industries.

The Dead and Donna in 1976

Since showing some Donna Godchaux stills seemed popular here, this link shows the outfit in 1976. Few ever played as cleanly and melodically as Garcia.

Anyone (other than me) catch Phil's BMW-logo t-shirt? I knew Jerry drove one. Wasn't aware Phil was a fan, too! Thanks for the video.
