Laughter as a painkiller. Intro of "It aint easy..." of album "Painkiller".
Listen to all the grasping intros in these 12 tracks!

John Lee Hooker, Chill out, 1995

After this fantastic guitar solo by Carlos Santana: a laughter of happiness and thankfulness by Hooker for this generous present.

David Byron, Take No Prisoners, 1975, Bronze Germany, 89 433 XOT

A short sharp laughter of fun and joy in the first verse of "Stop" B4 by this great vocal artist (Uriah Heep). For sure: the most variable voice in rock music.

"Groovy" B1. Laughter of pure joy and happiness. Because he has the best studio musicians. 45 years since this one. Great voice!

Blossom Toes, People of the royal parks, 1967

"They'll be happy, they'll be smiling, they'll go to the races, they'll drink Scotch Whisky, the people that we know are happy all the time..." followed by a crazy laughter at the end of this funny song.

Manu Dibango, Kango, 1986 from LP "Afrijazzy"

A song of laughter. Africa is breathing. There is much laughter on this album, nearly in every song. It's Afrijazzy!

    The Surfaris, Wipe out, 1963

The most famous laughter. The only vocal is this laughter in the intro of this instrumental after the breaking-sound of the surf board. Schadenfreude?
Woke up in the morning and saw this magnitude of snow outside. This never happened in Switzerland on May 5th, as long as anyone can remember. So today, I first remembered this laughter: Hi Hi Hi, wipe out....

Is this called the global warming? Har har har...

I recall we've had snow in the Walpurgis nights of 1970 and 1982.

    Best regards!

Can we identify that »Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha« close to the end of Gallows Pole (Led Zeppelin III, B1) as laughter as well?

    Best regards!
