    Howard Hughes and the Altec Valencias

    My friend sent me this fascinating article. Seems Howard was quite fond of his Altecs.

    Appreciate! Amazing gentleman, to put it mildly. We had a similar Altec system in our band room that I assembled for the music dept. May have been the identical match - looked the same. Too long ago to recall exact specs (c1960). One of the best systems I can recall - big, open, uncolored. Effortless. Mike

    Cool I bet it sounded great. Would be a fun prpject to recreate the "Howard Hughes home theater." A littled creeped out by those scketches of him though, ha.
