    First project, two way monitor

Hello, this is my first post andmy first JBL project.
The box is about 50 liters and made of19mm MDF.
    I'll use a 2206and a VTX F12with a 2450J driver.

I decided to go with a very simple design and used 600mm MDF boards for all sides of the box.
Did some embracement and used a lot of glue.

Had to modify the 2450 to fit on the VTX VG. I had a pair of adapters but decided to screw the VG direct to the driver.
It is about 26mm of material to use before you hit the neodyme surface.

Found a pair of used 18”
JRX for subs, not perfect but will do until I have found parts to build
    something better.
Using a DBX driverackPA2 for x-over, phase corrections and some EQ.

Sound is not "HiFi" but it works good in small live show and at home party

    Hi,

With a good DSP setup that will be a great system. You will never look back.

    Det blev riktigt fint !

    Quality woodworking.

First JBL project? Well, odds are you now have "The Bug". What are your plans for JBL Project # 2 ?

    Beautiful woodwork, indeed! Humbling...

You might oughta reconsider that foam lining - it does not behave the same as fiberglass batting. Your effective box size will be increased with proper batting. Just sayin'...

    Thank you for positive responses!
Regarding damping I did fill boxes with some fiber material, It was just not there on the pictures.
The foam I put there so it maybe could prevent some standing waves sins all sides in box is parallel.

I will try some outdoor measurement to see if I can adjust x-over and EQ. Only have the DBX mic and built in RTA to use.
