Turning a Synthesis Two Center on its side?

    Hi All,

I picked up 3 Synthesis Two center speakers at an auction. I am thinking of trying them Left-Center-Right in a home theater set up. I don't think I want to go high enough with the screen to get the center speaker under it. I am thinking of modifying the center speaker by turning the horn 90 degrees and moving it up so I can put the speaker on its side. Does this make sense? Any problems I am overlooking? Presumably I would also move one of the ports so they are both on the new bottom?

    Thanks for any thoughts!
    John
