    Speaker Stand for JBL 4429

Currently, I'm on a TAOC (l oaner )which is only 20cm. Based on my listening position, the tweeter is like 10cm higher. I was thinking if this is ok.
I did a simple search the default stand is the JS-360 which is about 40cm in height. Should I be getting something that is the same as JS360?
Another alternative that I'm looking is the Atacama SL400 which is 40cm.

    Pls advise. Thanks.

    Hallo!

I have just orderd a pair of Costume Design FS-108 to go with my 4429. I have it on 40cm height. With the Soundcare Super spikes around 42cm. Here you get Inert filler as well.

To me it is a perfect height so the horn is on earlevel when sitting down.

To my knowledge there is no specific height for those speakers.

Will post some pictures when I recive them during this week.

Based on normal tutorial that I read most recommend tweeter same as the ear. Hence probably 40cm might be somewhere there.
20cm is quite off. Hence, would like some comments by experts here.

BTW, what pre and pro are you using?

    Hallo!

Here are some pictures of my new speaker stands from Costume Design FS-108. The total height is 45cm with Soundcare superspikes. Very stable stands when filled with Inert Filler sand. It is heavier than the speakers weight.

    Very satisfied

Those are pretty nice stands. Much nicer than the atacamas.

BTW, would it be ok if I were to go for a 50cm stand instead?
Which means high chance it will align with the 175Nd-3 ( center driver ) .

    Low-Frequency Transducer 300mm pure-pulp cone woofer 1200FE-8
    High-Frequency Transducer 50mm titanium diaphragm 175Nd-3
UHF Transducer 19mm titanium diaphragm 138Nd

    Hallo!

In my case when I measured from floor to the center of 175Nd-3 is 85,55 cm. I think it is too high if you go with 50cm stands, but this is my opinion.
