Hey,
I know this has been discussed several times, but I´m not aiming a sounddiscussion.
I remember a friend telling me, that the alnico-drivers are more prone to heat-damage than the ferrit-drivers.
So if someone blew a diaphragm caused by an overload from the amp, what would happen ?
Could I just swop in a new dia and everything is fine ?
Or will the alnico-magnet loose magnetstrength whereas the ferrit stays strong!?
Thanks a lot,
Olaf
