Best HF match for JBL 2020 H

Greetings Forum!

I picked up three JBL 2020 H 12" drivers and I'm looking for advice as to the JBL best high frequency driver to match them.

These units may be used as the left, center and right channel as part of a home theater installation and will be configured as three separate enclosures with a single 12 and HF driver in each. The sub is a 2242 H 18" in an 8 cubic foot enclosure. The surrounds channels are JBL 8330.

I plan to use existing 2.0 cu ft enclosures for this project. Any recommendations on the best HF driver/lens match and passive crossover configuration? A have a few 2404 H that could be used.

Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated!

If you are using a small format driver, I favor the 2344.

Nice! Which HF driver do you have behind the 2344 horn? How do you have your crossover set up? Are you happy with the performance?

I built them several years ago so,,, I think they have 2425's in them.

They are tri-amped and use a Rane AC23 crossover. I will have to look at the crossover and EQ to give you specifics, I listen to these nearly every day and love them.

The 2020H's are pretty much done about 200Hz so if you are going to cross them into 2242's that is going to be a challenge.
