JBL diaphragms - old but genuine or new aftermarkets?

I was wondering, what to you guys prefer? A vintage JBL driver with old but genuine diaphragm or a brand new aftermarket dia?

New genuine. Accept no substitute or response may suffer.

IMO, as long as JBL stocks original replacement parts, aftermarket shouldn't be a consideration if you want to maintain the intended sound of your system.
