    136HS or ME150H for 4430 clone?

    Hi,

I´m planning my 4430 clones at the moment.
Do you prefer the 136HS or ME150H for it?
What are the main differences between both 15" woofers?

I think at ME150H are better driver for 4430 than 136HS
If you don't have ME150H you can get 2227 core and buy C8RME150H recone kit for them

    Hi,i'm old school man
I think 4430 is a modern speaker,so ME150H is more suitable for it.
but if you like old fashion so much,136HS is OK,all depons on you

136HS is the woofer in the S2S subwoofer, he look similar like 2226 with heavy aquaplas coating cone and similar coil like 2235
136H is the old school woofer

If you have both drivers, why not just try both of them out?

    Hi!

    I got a new-like pair 136HS, only.
The driver looks like a 2226H with poron fiber cone, no Aquaplas coating.
Le is significantly lower than a 2226H. Mms is around 35g higher.
