Dave Byrne and Brian Eno
My best friend and I noticed this when we were young and first got "Exit Stage Left" from Rush.
You can see the back of the stage monitor with an "E-Series" in it. Very hard to see if you have the CD cover but if you have the Album cover then it is a very good shot!![]()
Always fun learning more.......
I just watched A Clockwork Orange again.
In the extras they mentioned that if Malcom McDowell had not been available for the film, Mick Jagger would have been asked. And the Stones would have been cast as the Droogies.
In a letter uncovered this week, we learn of the Clockwork Orange conceived back before Stanley Kubrick came on board and made his film with Malcolm McDowell. It reveals that Mick Jagger wanted to play the psychotic thug Alex, while the Beatles were interested in providing the soundtrack.

Legends of the Jagger ...
One legend has it that he was going to be in Fitzcarraldo ...
Wikipedia:
Casting of the film was difficult. Jason Robards was originally cast in the title role, but he became ill with dysentery during early filming. After leaving for treatment, he was forbidden by his doctors to return. Herzog considered casting Jack Nicholson, or playing the role of Fitzcarraldo himself, before Klaus Kinski accepted the role. Herzog had done considerable film work with Kinski. By that point, forty percent of shooting with Robards was complete. For continuity, Herzog had to begin a total reshoot with Kinski. Mick Jagger was originally cast as Fitzcarraldo's assistant Wilbur, but due to the delays, his shooting schedule expired. He departed to tour with the Rolling Stones. Herzog dropped Jagger's character from the script altogether as he reshot the film from the beginning.

Much as i enjoy The Beatles, cannot imagine anything that they could possibly do that would be better than LVB's 9/4 or The Thieving Magpie ..etc.

Kravitz slips into the "80's" by one year.
And if Altec isn't considered a thread hijack (I'm new & rather fond of Altec), Fab 4 & 612c that also had a Duplex. I've read discussion that the 612's use is to blame for the 'floppy bass' on Beatles' recordings.
John (& 'her') doesn't look offended by the Altecs. Even after a few years.
Jimi & 1204?
Looks like Elvis, but it's identified as Cash, and I think that could be a 2353.
Marley & a 2395?
Biaz & a plethora of vintage JBL sound reinforcement for the house. (Anyone identify the stage monitors? I thought JBL, but Yamaha had a similar sized horn.)
SRV & Guy with a possible 4560.
Plum wore "Harvest" out.
Thanx for the resource, and for allowing me to join in. Cool thread.
