In 1979 we did our first Japan tour, 1980 our first U.S. tour as support band. I was payed per month by the band so I had to work for them also between the gigs in the rehearsal room or in the studio during recording. As I started my own rental service I had to quit Scorpions 1984. We still meet once a year and tell stories....
You should definitely record those (only for posterity, of course...)

Here is a very bad picture from about 1975 of Scorpions "PA" system stage right. On the bottom was a selfmade frontloaded basshorn with two K140. On top of the bassbin two 4560 side by side (!) with unknown speakers. Horns were two 2350 with 2440 and one 2355 with 2482. On top of all a little box with two 075 bullets. All driven by two Crown DC300 amps.
The other picture shows the backline setup done by me every day.....

    Danke Schöne!
Despised here in France in the '90s it's nice they are now respected as one of the best. Meet the Schenker bros, man that's a dream! Anyway, do you have some censored and dedicated LPs for us to become rich
Again thanks for sharing with us!

We did so many France tours in the 70s and 80s, also Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. I remember when they had 110v mains in France, we always had to improvise. Also the French promoters were different.....

She had a pretty cool home studio. I'm gonna guess those are 4311's

I'm pretty sure the Wall of Sound was all JBLs except for the EV T-35 horn tweeters.

    Turn it to 11

Let's not forget the loudest rock band in the world. Spinal Tap. I hope you can see the 2395's on top of a double 12 or 15 cab. I also think there are 4 2402's surrounding the 2395's. These can be seen in a few scenes in the movie.

Wow great find. Just trying to work out what they are, thought they may be L26's but the Logo looks to be bottom right corner of the grill whereas its top right on the L26. I see Lennon also had the same amp I have a Sansui au-11000 which is the black one.
