I hadn't noticed this photo until today. The sound system in This Is Spinal Tap seems to be one of the ones built and supplied by TFA Electrosound. Back in 1977 I worked at TFA Electrosound for a couple of weeks; the entry-level job they assigned me was using a continuity tester to check the drivers in 100 or so speaker cabinets returning from a tour with Ted Nugent. All the drivers were JBL; about 35% of them were blown. (I was told that was typical for systems that Nugent used.) Once I had finished testing all the enclosures and doing some other menial work I left for the (then) much greener pastures of consumer hi-fi.

Just a heads up, this pair is still around and has been sold somewhere last year.
