The whole line is back... but only in the "black" finish... I call it charcoal gray, but whatever. Here is a pdf brochure of the lineup.

I thought the reason for the blowout was they were getting rid of finishes they didn't want, I didn't know they cancelled the small Arrays before. Or is this just the typical corporate reversal?
Let's hope they re-engineered the attachment of the horn to the cabinet and developed better shipping boxes.
Out.
Were the poorly packed Arrays "A" stock? I have had a number of very poorly packed "B" stock items from JBL, but all of the normal factory packed "A" stock items were very well packed. My 1400 Arrays were insanely well packed... they would easily survive a four foot drop test.

My 800's were A and arrived fine. I even commented on how well they were packed.
Then everybody else who bought them suffered damage with the exact same packing. Seems the packing is designed to only work when the boxes are kept "right side up".
It's my understanding that the 1400s come with the horn separate from the box, where the 800s come assembled.
Could this be as close as you're going to get? http://www.jbl.com/EN-US/Products/Pa...=1000+ARRAY+BG
Oddly enough I can find the 1400 and 800, but not 1000:

". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers
It seems to me they are not intended to be sold inEurope.

Did they ever "un-introduce" the 1400? I understood they were showing them at CES.
