    L65 help with top

    I need some help.

The top of the L65 has the famous smoked glass, and underneath, what appears to be a very thin piece of dense foam backed by a equally thin piece of cardboard with a cutout for the JBL badge.

I would like to replace the foam/cardboard piece to restore it's looks.

Anyone have any pointers, or knows of some resource I can consult?

    Thanks

I think I read a few years back that one of the older members here said they used black matting material from a picture frame shop ...

. . . or black felt from a fabric store.
". . . as you have no doubt noticed, no one told the 4345 that it can't work correctly so it does anyway."—Greg Timbers
