    Anybody still seaching..

or have you REALLY found THE gear that will satisfy you for years to come-perhaps ALL your dreams.

Perhaps 'dreams' should not be in the equation, however I have found & bought my gear that will be all that I need (& desire) for the forseable future ( except, perhaps, a new table & a SA7S1.)

Shoot I'm still trying to figure out how to best use the stuff I have!

I'm pretty sure for me the search will never be over, how ever I am really beginning to like what I have.
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.

With latest firmware, you get to add: DVD-ISO and BD-ISO to that list.

Does it mean you can play DVD-ISO from eSATA or USB?

Yup, also DVD-Audio ISO and Blu-Ray ISO. From connected drives only. Be aware they will only show up in the "movies" pathway.

    Still searching? You bet.

Some are focused on the journey, some on the destination. It's a personal choice.

Since I already know the destination, I prefer to extend the journey.
    Out.

I've already grabbed the hibachi with the inside of my wrists... I just need to go for a
walk in the snow now (let the journey continue).

Still looking for few 15" subs that don't blow up!
After that, looking to replace 80's horns and drivers with 90's+ vintage.

give the 1500 Array a chance if you can. I think, in most applications, it may be big enough.

I have a pair of those.
But in my room I prefer the 2245 in my L&R and don't have enough room left for a dedicated 18 for sub duty, hence the 15's because they fit.

I picked up one of those VT4881 (2256G) subs, appearing quite similar in appearance
and published specs to the W15GTi. Odd journey indeed. If I can make that work to my
satisfaction indoors (essentially as an LFE driver), I'll be happy to post what was required.

With a pair of 2245s in the room, I'm guessing LFE is more what you're looking for as the
finessed, tuneful bass should already be there.

Todd seemed to be pleased with his ported system that included the vehicle version of the
driver. I'm thinking of going sealed initially.

For the price I paid, it's just cool to look at
