Altec Tube Receiver

Does anyone have any experience with, or know, this model? I can't even find the tube compliment.

Never mind, it's gone.

I knew from what little I could find on Asian seller sites that it certainly wasn't junk, but they seem to go bananas for anything made in the U.S.A. and old.

The one I was considering was priced fairly strongly; didn't want to pull the trigger if it was just a so so model.

And didn't want to insult the guy if it was a gem.

Still, it would be interesting to know a little more about it besides the fact that it uses tubes, in case another one or similar comes along.
