    2405H discontinued?

First I see Giskard's comment that the E110 is NLA, and now a guy on eBay is selling new 2405H's for $300, saying they also are NLA. What's up with this? Is JBL starting to drop their components? It seems after all these years the tooling costs would have been well recovered - why start dropping components at this time? Or at least keep the tooling handy, so limited runs could be made from time to time...

    'Anyone know what's going on?

Last I heard they were on backorder until the end of July with an MSRP of $340 each. Maybe they cancelled the production run.

Well folks........ It's a sad sad day. JBL has officially discontinued the 2402H, the 2404H, and the 2405H. What are they thinking!?!?!?! At least I can still get the 2404H-1 from JBL parts.

    Cheers,
    Zach

    Unf*'#$ingbelievable

I can't believe it. All they have is the 2407 and it isn't a JBL driver.
At least it is made in Germany

I ordered a pair of 2404's from Pro Audio America and I was just advised they are shipping Monday. Even though they did not have them is stock, they are getting them from somewhere!

I guess there are some left on the shelves.
