Differences between D208 and 2110?

A friend who builds guitar amps asked me what any differences are, aside from appearance, between the JBL D208 and the JBL Professional Series 2110. This is beyond my area of expertise (if I have one). Does anyone know... wider gap, longer coil, anything like that?

They take the same cone kit, or did, when it was still available. The differences in the frame may not be significant, but the 2110 has a stouter rim, which I like.
