I have seen paging horns built with the driver in the throat as a way to shorten them up, do you have a picture of what you're looking at?
If we knew what the hell we were doing, we wouldn't call it research would we.
I don't have a picture, I'm just going by what I've been told.
The polarity of the driver is also reversed ( + to black terminal )
