With help of YouTube I'll start a little journey from north to south in Europe emphazising Germany and Hamburg.
In this forum there are regularly forumites from other European countries and they are invited to contribute.

Fine idea Peter...

In my case (and no, Oregon is not in Europe ) I do listen to a mix ....a mix of US classic rock (really nothing from the last 10 years) , 50's Pop, and a fair amount of German classical music ...Beethoven , Wagner etc...(really nothing from the last 100 years)..Even Gershwin and Cole Porter.

Through vinyl , I'm discovering the lost (to me) era of the 50's and folk ...was mainly an AOR guy for too many years.

I read somewhere that 40% of Oregonians have some Germanic background in their family tree ...my grandfather was Austrian , Grandma was Alsatian . (that percentage was most likely before the influx of guests from the south)
