How do I remove the protective screen from the tweeter. It's bent and could be easily fixed if it was removed from the speaker.
Thanks,

IIRC, a black o-ring holds it in place. Just hook something in the screen and pull it out.
I'm guessing you didn't like the answers you got here yesterday?

I was able to remove the screens and bend them back into shape. I was also able to reuse the retainer rings. Overall very easy repair.
I understand that replacement parts are available from JBL if needed and they only cost a few bucks.
Thanks for the help
They were, from JBLpro ... same parts as in some of the monitors using the same driver.
(that's a hint on where to look for part numbers).
There's also a thread on it somewhere here for the black screen and retainer ring.
If you want spares, you might want to order them asap.
