I think you're a lucky guy! Pictures of the JBLs, please.

I'm originally from St. Louis, and so are my vintage 030 JBLs. Do you know where yours came from originally? Any history?

    Oh yeah, welcome aboard!

I bought my Harsfields from the supplier of Maytag products in 1967.
One was blond and the other mahogany. I had them refinished in walnut.
I than added the 075 tweeters , which I replaced later with 175DLH
    drivers and lens.
I will sumit pictures as soon as I learn how.

Prior to owning the Hartsfield I had JBL C34's with D130 , 175 , and 075 speaker systems.
My systems were purchased from Napper radio and Aeolian in St.Louis.

    AR3as and Hartsfields with 175DLHs?

Come on, what have you got against high frequencies?

Welcome aboard, sounds like some cool vintage gear... I love this stuff too.

Please do take a few pics and share.

I will send pictures as soon as I can . The purpose of removing the 075's
and replacing them with 175DLH's was brightness , the 075 on top of the 375 was just to bright.

JBL 175DLH is much better the acoustic lens filters out some of the brillance , also it is less directional.
As you know the Hartsfield was designed without a tweeter.
In the Paragons the 075 is pointed toward the curved board , limiting it's
brilliance as well as helping to spread it's direction more.

    I do enjoy highs.
