    Boots 'n' Braces

I Have Opened The L 890's---no Serious Dampeing No Bracing---the Cabinet Box Is Dead Like A Snare Drum!!!! It Is So Silly That A Manufacturer Like Jbl Does Not Spend 20 Bucks On Internal Bracing And Dampening--it Is Obvious At High Volumes---everything Loses Control--especially In The High Frequencies So Delicate At External Alien Vibrations---the Tweeter And Super Tweeter Have Some Sort Of De Coupling---a Very Thin Gasket Foam--but They Need More Decoupling I Will Spread Silicone---at The Moment I Am Fixing Heavy Metal Plates To The Inside Walls-then I Will Cover Them With Asphalt-felt Boards. As I Diy'er I Have Made Incredibly Clear Definite
Loudspeakers--due To Cabinets --super Rigid Damped And Heavy--i Use Cement Filled Ballast Chambers--the X Overs Too Employs Hi Quality Components Like Solen Caps 2 Bucks Each A Great Improvement-or Decent Internal Cabling Or Soldered Connections...are They At Jbl In Such A Hurry Not To Spend 5 Minutes On Soldering ???? --really Cheap Stuff In The End--this Brand It Seems Is Solely Intended In Making Money--with Cheap Cheap Stuff--it Is A Pity For How Much I Have Loved Jbl In The Past---probably For Products So Expensive I Could Not Buy In The End!!!!
