Hi guys,

This question will no doubt expose me for the complete noob that I am, but I'm a little confused as to how to connect up my crossovers.

I have a pair of N501-8A's (with no covers, so they're open in back).
So it's obvious the audio signal goes to the front, and the high and low frequency drivers connect to the respective terminals on the rear, BUT what do I connect to the 'common' terminal posts?

Also, the guy I purchased these from told me I should wire a 10ohm resistor in parallel with a 1 mfd (non polarized) capacitor from the common terminal of the network to the driver in order to improve high frequency response.
Is this something I should be looking to implement?
