    D130F question

    Maybe this has been asked before but I didn't see it in a search. Can a D130F be reconed as a D140F or are the hard parts different? I have a chance to pick up a pair of the D130F's but want to use them for bass guitar and really want D140F's for my vintage Bassman cabinet.

    It can be reconed as a E140.

    Thanks for the reply. Is that because D140F recone parts aren't available and E140 parts are? I had a pair of E140's before and liked them fine. I shouldn't have sold them...

    Yes, as I understand it, the E140 is the only kit available to replace the D140F cone.
