Check google for mail order, or Radio shack for local.

    Catagory: Chemicals

    DEOXIT GOLD 5.0 oz
    $20.95
Formulated to improve conductivity, lubricate and protect plated connectors and contacts for maximum performance and protection. It deoxidizes minor amounts of surface contamination, penetrates plated surfaces and molecularly bonds to the base metals - NO OTHER PRODUCT DOES THIS. It also stabilizes connections between similar and dissimilar metals and is ideal for moving and stationary surfaces and surfaces subject to vibration. Provides long-lasting protection on gold, as well as silver, rhodium, copper, nickel and other precious metals. 5 oz.

    DEOXIT FADERLUBE 5.0 oz
    $16.95
A precision lubricant specifically formulated to clean, improve conductivity and lubricate plastic faders, switches, membrances and other similar components. Over time components lose their original lubrication from wear and/or repeated cleaning. Dust, dirt, drink, spills and other contaminants also degrade the components lubricant. The need for re-lubrication, while maintaining tactile feel, is necessary to avoid excess wear and abrasion to the surfaces. 5 oz.

    DEOXIT D5 5.0 oz
    $16.95

A fast-acting deoxidizing solution that cleans, lubricates, protects and improves conductivity on metal connectors, contacts and surfaces. It is ideal for stationary and moving contact connectors. Stabilizes connections between similar and dissimilar metals. 5 oz.

I use Deoxit D5. I obtained it at my local audio shop, a gem of a private one, but a Google search revealed it available all over the web. There are much more expensive formulations from CAIG, but D5 has never let me down.

The detail and cleanup master there, Don Baker, suggests cleaning while watching TV. Before you know it, all the RCA females on a complex amp or receiver are like new and you are unaware of having done any work.

Try local good quality outlets of TV and Home theater gear. They may carry it. Don't forget electronics shops if there are any left in your area.

I started using Caig's Cramolin Red & Blue in the early 80's, touted in "The Audio Amateur" magazine.
    It was VERY effective.
I use the D5 for general defunking, the Faderlube for serious flushing and for use on "cermet" type pots ( for which it is made ), and the Gold for preserving switch contacts.

IMO, they are the Cat's Pajamas.

Beware of the shamelessly named "Deox ID", destroyer of gear. Crapola.
