    2212 & 2213 woofers

I have a pair of 4311wxa that have slightly different woofs. 2212 & 2213. Are they close enough to not be noticed?? Also the acordian surrounds, I am not familiar with. When I hold them to the light it shines through!! seems frail. One more thing, is there any way to clean these white woofers?? they are a tad grimy...

I think 2212 and 2213 are reverse polarity.

When looking at the terminals, are both the red and black in the same orientation? are blacks on the left and both reds on the right< kind of concept?

I recall 2212 for 4311's and 2213 reverse polarity and ferrite magnet for 4312's.

So, no. Both woofs would be out of electrical phase with each other.

    12" woofer series

    2212, 123a-1, 123a-3 are alnico magnet, 50W rated

2213H is ferrite magnet, 75W rated

For polarity make a search on LHF and double check if needed with battery by observing dia. inward or outward moving

They are opposite, does that mean I should just reverse the connections on the 2213

You are correct sir! I have a pair of 2213 and they're AlNiCo, same thing as 123A-3.
